New Zealand Traveller Declaration
Australian passport holders must complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration
Form (NZTD) before passport control on arrival. The NZTD is an online form
that collects information about guests travel & is digitally linked to
passports for streamlined arrival in NZ. This can be completed online or by using the NZTD app at no cost. (Online link – https://www.travellerdeclaration.govt.nz/)

For clients arriving
by air (plane), the earliest you can submit your declaration is 24 hours
before you start your trip to New Zealand. It needs to be submitted by the
time passport control in NZ is reached.

For clients arriving
by sea (ship), the earliest you can submit your declaration is 24 hours
before departing the vessel’s last foreign port prior to arriving in New
Zealand. It needs to be submitted by the time the vessel has berthed at its
first port in NZ.
